Plenary Speakers

Each year the conference offers four plenary events: one Thursday evening, one Friday afternoon, and two on Saturday morning, with one of those Saturday plenaries having a K-12 focus.

In bridging the past with the future, a panel of five past presidents of CATESOL will give the audience an opportunity to connect with the wisdom of the panel in an open, interactive forum.

Netta Avineri, Professor of TESOL/TFL at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and co-founder the Intercultural Digital Storytelling Project.

SATURDAY K-12 PLENARY: Not Less, But More

Reyna Grande, inspirational speaker and award-winning author of The Distance Between Us, about her life before and after illegally immigrating from Mexico to the United States.
